• January 2007 - Decided to keep a little blog of visits to the National Zoo.
• October 2006 - Uploaded my first videoclip to YouTube. You can see three white tiger cubs playing. And some clips of Soy and her three at National Zoo in DC: Sumatran tigers at Play and Quick Tiger Bath; inaddition, you can see :-)
• July 2004 - Managed to get to another confluence point - the first one I'd gotten to that had not yet been visited. This was 23°N 82°W 1.5 km (0.9 miles) N of Casiguas, La Habana, Cuba.
• October 2002 - Decided to "hide" a geocache. So here is my page for the "locationless" cache I've called Aqueducts Akimbo. (Info on different types of caches here.)
• September 2002 - One of the things I wanted to do when I was down in Cape Breton recently was to find the 2 confluence points that are there. Success!! N 46° W 61° and N 46° W 60°.(not yet posted) Then after getting home, I learned of a geocache that was nearby, so I visited it.
• April 2002 - Visited my first confluence point, though it was not the point's first visitation. It happened to be quite close to the A.T.
• March 2002 - Made a page about Tom Fremantle who recently passed through Shepherdstown with his mule, Browny, following the route of an ancestor who'd traveled here during the Civil War.
• May Day/Lei Day - Gregor just told me to look at hober.com. (I sent Hober a pic of David and Hober the cat a few weeks ago, but it did not occur to me that it would get onto the front page of hober.com. They have a gallery and I thought it might end up there, if anywhere.) ...The pic has since been replaced with another pic... Maybe I'll put up somewhere the screencapture of the page when David and Hober were still there. I see it's now in the gallery - 2nd one down. No longer - now it's about 24th.
• April 25, 2001 - New Toys... - eMap, Intelplay microscope, Slingshot, etc.
• April 1, 2001 - Working on a couple of little pages, one for Latin names of plants, sort of an outgrowth of this springwildflowers page. Also something for the Snavely Ford Trail.
• July 10, 2000 - Put up a page on James Rumsey on the library page.
• May, 2000 - Put up a little page for the Harpers Ferry Conservancy
• I've retrieved "Baddeck and that Sort of Thing", a humorous work by friend of Mark Twain, Charles Dudley Warner, from the depths of the MOA collection at Cornell where it resided, hidden, in the annals of the 1874 Atlantic Monthly. March 6, 2000.

• I decided to make a page for my local chapter of the Audubon Society, Potomac Valley Audubon Society. After 6 years of URL migration, as of February 23, 2001, it finally has its own domain!!
• Last night (December 5, 1995) at the annual Xmas banquet, I was talking to someone about the possibility of making a page for the Botanical Society of Washington, so here it is.

• When I realized the Appalachian Trail was homeless, I made a home page for it.
