You are invited to help the FCAA sponsor its
Scholarship Program. Each year the
Frederick County Art Association (FCAA) conducts
an Art competition open to all Frederick County High School seniors who plan a
continued program of study in the visual arts. Awards of $500, $300 and $200
are presented to talented persons to assist with their college expenses. To
date the FCAA has given more than $35,000 in scholarships to students.
You may help by providing a direct gift to the FCAA, or by

In September the Community Foundation sent out its
Fall newsletter. The front cover story is 'Community Foundation
Scholarships: Helping Students Pursue Their Dreams' The
Frederick County Art Association Scholarship Fund is
listed along with 90 other scholarship funds. It is very important when you
make a contribution to the Community Foundation that specify that you want your
gift donation to go our scholarship fund. If you don't, your donation will go
into a general fund. It is our goal to put enough money into the endowment fund
so it will grow to a point that the interest earned will pay for the
scholarship program. For more information call the Community Foundation at
301-695-7660 or view their website at www.cffredco.org |
