Rexy's Biography Page
Rexy was born on September 19, 1988. He first blessed his new family on November 7, 1988. He was the most wonderful
surprise that his daddy could ever want. Dan and Connie had just gotten
engaged 4 day earlier, and Connie had gone to the Mall to buy a brides magazine, and on the way out, she saw Rexy. He and his siblings were being given
away to loving homes by a girl whose dog had pups and couldn't keep them.
When their eyes met, Rexy knew he found his mommy! By the way, if you happen
to be the girl giving Lab pups away outside of the Security Square Mall in
Baltimore in early November 1988, please send us an e-mail, we would love to talk to you.
Since then, Rexy has established himself as the focal point of his family.
The family room of his house is graced with a custom painted portrait, and over
33 other items with Black labs on them. He has traveled extensively, with
destinations that include Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maine, Canada, North Carolina, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, West Virginia, Virginia, and of course all over his home state of Maryland.
He has laid claim to his rightful place in bed (usually laying perpendicular across the bed on the pillows!).
Some of his favorite things to do are swim, eat biscuits (the large Milkbone brand only!!), go for walks, play in the snow
(boy does he have simple fits!) and snuggle with his family. You should see his eyes
light up when you mention 'wanna get a bath?', he will run upstairs, get
in the tub and wait for you!

(a goofy Newfoundland across the road), his cousins Rookie, Roxie, and skipper,
Brittany (his first girlfriend Golden Retriever), cousins Rylee & Chewy & Sammy (Shar-pei/
cocker spaniel mixes), Max and Huey (poor Max gets such a bad wrap!) and Amber (a cute little Viszla).
